Valley Of Flowers

The Valley of Flowers Trek, part of the Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve, gained global attention in 1938 and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Spanning 40 km at 11,600 ft, it showcases over 520 plant species and 13 mammal varieties, including rare flowers like Jangli Lahsun, Aquilegia pubiflora, Neela Posta, and Khasi Patta. Open from late May to mid-October, the valley bursts into vibrant colors that change weekly—from pinks to yellows—creating an ever-evolving floral panorama. The trek also includes spiritual and scenic highlights such as Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara (14,120 ft), serene streams, lakes, and the Lokpal Lakshman Mandir. A perfect blend of nature, adventure, and culture, the Valley of Flowers Trek offers breathtaking landscapes and an unforgettable Himalayan experience for trekkers and nature enthusiasts alike.
