Dayara Bugyal

The Dayara Bugyal Trek in Uttarakhand is a 22 km moderate trek perfect for families, friends, and beginners, earning its title as the “Gateway to the World of Trekking.” Starting at Raithal (7,171 ft) and ascending to Dayara Top (11,830 ft), trekkers are rewarded with panoramic views of the Garhwal Himalayas, including Bandarpoonch, Black Peak, Gangotri peaks, Jaonli, and Draupadi Ka Danda. The alpine meadows change with the seasons—from lush green in summer to golden brown in autumn—adorned with wildflowers like primroses, daisies, and Himalayan blue poppies. Along the way, oak, maple, and rhododendron forests accompany you, while grazing horses, mules, cows, and sheep add charm. Open year-round, Dayara Bugyal offers a serene, colorful, and unforgettable trekking experience in the Indian Himalayas.
